Arcitecture

I think my favorite feature of architecture are cathedrals. They are beautiful, and the technology made in them is amazing. I also think that bridges are very cool, the fact that someone could make a path over a whole river without any posts going into the water is amazing. The golden gate bridge is awesome because it is suspension. What is your favorite architectural masterpiece?

Track Meet today!

I have a track meet today and i am running the 3000 meters! i am very excited because it is the first time i have ever ran this event fresh. i usually run the mile or the 800 before it and am not fresh. I am really excited because i have the chance to run a really solid time, and maybe get a medal. I am more happy to be running this even than a different one because i love distance running! I will let you guys know how i do!

Giants Win!!!!

That game was awesome! 24-2 Giants, we held them to ZERO points in the entire game except for the safety. That game was awesome, combined with all the wings i ate made it a successful Sunday. now to go to school tomorrow and have a boring day, although i have a track meet alter that night. I still do not know what event i am running but i am excited!!

Giants game

Here i am sitting by my tv watching the giants game. In the first half we really had some ups and downs. They played like complete shit the first quarter, they were unable to score but at least they held the falcons scoreless. Right as the 2nd quarter began they started it by being sacked in the end zone for a safety. Just when i thought all hope was lost on 4th and inches they got it. Now it is 7-2 giants and it is obvious we have all the momentum going into halftime. I will recap the next half when it ends

sorry about no post this morning

I was at a track meet. I ran very bed, i think because i was dehydrated. During the race my vision got really blurry after ;like the first lap. I ran a 5:10 mile overall and it was not easy, It hurt like hell. Sometimes i find it very hard to motivate myself and get myself to run faster times. I wish i was just one of the fastest kids, but i guess that is just not me. Is anyone else a runner on here? Like a real runner, that runs in meets? I will keep everyone updated on my races!

Running

I have been running a lot lately and i thought that i might update you all with how i am doing. I have a mile race on Saturday, where i am trying to break 5 in the mile. I have been training a lot and i think my hardest workout has been 10 400s at 72 pace. We didn't even get much break so that is why it was so hard. Our longest run has been 80 minutes, which was in the rain and it was so COLD. If you are buying running shoes, i would suggest that you purchase the Brooks Ghost 4's. they are a very good neutral trainer that gives you goo support but is also pretty light. If you have any questions about exercise or running, feel free to ask! maybe i will go a Ghost 4 review later tonight

how small we are compared to everything

I saw a picture the other day that showed us how small we really are. The picture showed our earth compared to all the planets and the sun, it then goes on to show other stars compared to the sun. Our sun is TINY compared to other stars. I think the fact that the universe is SO vast is extremely interesting. There was a galaxy that is like 80 million light years away and it has 8 times more stars than our milkey way has. We are but a tiny grain of sand among a whole beach. If i find this awesome picture then i will post it, also if you know which one i am talking about please comment with a link!

Just got home from a basketball game

Wow my favorite thing to do when paying basketball is too run. When another team is playing man defense all i like to do is just run around and make the other guy tired. I am a runner so i was not tired at all and my opponents were! we ended up losing but i had fun and also got a good indicator that i am in good shape. So as i was playing i thought of a game.. If the basketball court was the size of a soccer feild and you could sub players in and out like hockey. Now this may seem really hard with a basketball to shoot that much but you do not use a basketball. you would use a ball the size of a tennis ball hat can be thrown far. So you could have people who are good at bombing it deep, or people who can easily dunk the little ball. I think it could be a really really cool game. What do you guys think?

how to reach the Grey Beards, in Skyrim

Many people i have talked too were having trouble with finding the Grey Beards. One problem the i do have with Skyrim is how difficult it is to travel places on top of mountains. there seems to be only one path up and you can not deviate from it. Ok so back to the guide, when you try to climb over the mountain IT NEVER WORKS. You have to go to the town, Ivarstead, in the town there is a place where they cut wood. Go over there and when you look across the river you will see a beaten path. Follow this path and you will go up about 10000 steps, when you reach the top it should be snowing and there is a huge building. I hope this guide helps you, because this took me a long time to find. Also i hope this awkward family photo brightens your day!

funny picture and a Skyrim tip

I saw the funniest picture today that i thought i would share with you guys!
I really don't know for sure why this is so funny, but it is. I guess because i grew up reading the stories of these 2 that i find it so funny, but i loved it! Ok, so now to that Skyrim tip i promised. In Skyrim there is a way to power level your smithing, enchanting, and speech craft. You need to buy A LOT of iron bars and use leather strips to make iron dagger, after you make these daggers enchant them with all the soul gems you have (they are very common). after this sell them to merchants for money AND experience in speech!

a funny story

In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University.

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air.

The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully.

He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it.

As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife.

After which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.

The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments.

Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled.

Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned and walked away.

Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenage son.

As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing.

The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down.

The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant.

Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure.

He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder.

The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs.

Picked him up and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same fucking elephant...

i found this story online, i thought it was so funny that i had to post it. I did not make this story i found it online. Comment on how you think this story is! I laughed so hard when i read it.

new to blogging!

hey all, i am pretty new to this but i am going to try and have some cool pictures that i have seen up in the next hour. In this blog i will share everything i think is cool, from guitars to movies! I plan on keeping this blog updated daily! Well i might as well give you a fun fact for the day, the game skyrim that just came out in November got the game of the year title, in that game you can fast travel and ride horses! its awesome, some of the quests are hard but there are guides everywhere online. my fun fact for today is to BUY SKYRIM. its an awesome game!
